21st BAITHAK at BHANDIR VAN

Vyastirth, a religious head of Madhva Sampradaya was living here with 10,000 disciples. When Shri Mahaprabhuji was in this area for Bhagavat discourses, Vyastirth approached and requested Shri Mahaprabhuji  to take over his position with all the disciples. He also offered him 10,000 Rupees.
Shri Mahaprabhuji told him that he would reply him next morning.

That night, the servants of Yamdut came and beat Vyastirtha. He asked for the reason and was told, You have the pride to think that you can give something to Shri Mahaprabhuji. Your words to Him was unbefitting. Go and grasp His feet, seek His protection.

 The following morning, Vyastirth apologized to Shri Mahaprabhuji for his prideful words and prayed to make him His disciple. Shri Mahaprabhuji initiated him into the Path of Grace (Pushti Marg).

22nd BAITHAK at MANSAROVAR

Once Damalaji awoke in the middle of the night and noticed that his guru Shri Mahaprabhuji was missing. A few hours later, Lord Krishna appeared before him and told him that Shri Swaminiji (Radhikaji) was displeased with Him. Only with the help of Shri Mahaprabhuji, their reunion was established.

Seeing the Lord before him Damalaji said he was blessed to have His supreme vision.

Damala and Shri Mahaprabhuji had the sight of this divine pastime. All of this transpired while the other Vaishnavs were deeply immersed in sleep.

23rd BAITHAK at SORAMAJI

Krishnadas Meghan went to see his former Guru Keshavanandji here. Upon arrival, he was questioned by his Guru, Why have you made a second Guru?
Krishnadas replied, Only by your grace I have made Shri Mahaprabhuji as a Guru. He is truly the Lord. His guru asked for the proof.
Krishnadas Meghan took some burning ambers in his hands and declared: If the fire does not burn my hands, then know what I say to be true.
The fire had no burning effect on his hands. Upon seeing this, his former Guru was convinced of Shri Mahaprabhuji's divinity.

Once, while Shri Mahaprabhuji was bathing in the Ganges, his older brother Keshavpuri arrived here. He showed off to his brother that he could walk on the waters of Ganga. Shri Mahaprabhuji was not impressed with this show. He said that man's greatest power is in serving the Lord.
On the following day KeshavPuri again tried to walk on the water. When he reached halfway he was drowned. He shouted for the help. Shri Mahaprabhuji was sitting at the bank of this river for his daily prayer. Shri Mahaprabhuji extended his arms hundreds of feet and saved his brother from sinking. Such was His divine power.

24th BAITHAK at CHITRAKUT

This place is located near Kantanath Mountain. Shri Mahaprabhuji had conducted the discourses on Bhagavat and Ramayan here. Hanumanji daily came hear to attend the discourses given by Shri Mahaprabhuji. He would listen to the stories while standing on one foot.

Kantanath Mountain is a brother of Shri Giriraj Hill. Disguised as a Brahmin, it approached Shri Mahaprabhuji and told Him that Sita and Ram are on top of this mountain and are hungry. Shri Mahaprabhuji told his disciples to prepare bananas with sugar, cardamam and rose water. Shri Mahaprabhuji said that Lord ram is no other than Lord Krishna.

Shri Mahaprabhuji then went to the Mountain- top to meet Shri Ram. There He saw Sita, Ram sitting with Laxman by their side holding an umbrella while Hanuman stood by with folded hands. Shri Ram taking Shri Mahaprabhuji's hand made him sit next to him on his jeweled throne.

For some time Lord Ram and Mahaprabhuji became engrossed in divine discourse.

25th BAITHAK at AYODHYA

Ayodhya is situated on the banks of river Saryu.
Here Hanumanji asked Shri Mahaprabhuji, Being a devotee of Shri Krishna, what has brought you here in the land of Shri Ram?
Shri Mahaprabhuji replied that he was visiting the home of  Krishn's inlaws. He explained that Agnijit was the king of Ayodhya. Once he proclaimed that he has seven fierce bulls. A person who could tame them could have his daughter Satya's hand.
Krishna succeeded in taming the bulls and took Satya as his wife.
Shri Mahaprabhuji then told Hanumanji not to listen to discourse in such a holy land in a nude state. From that day Hanuman always wore some clothing. It is a tradition now, to put a small cloth in Shri Ram Katha as a symbol of Hanumanji's cloth.

26th BAITHAK at NAIMISHARANYA

Here by the Gomati lake, Shri Mahaprabhuji spoke the Bhagavat for seven days.

Here, 80,000 sages were performing the Yagyas (Sacrifices). Seeing Shri Mahaprabhuji in this area, they took Him to the sacrife site. After beginning the sacred fire, they all requested Shri Mahaprabhuji to explain to them the significance of such Yagnas. For nine hours Shri Mahaprabhuji enlightened them with the meaning of one Shlok from Shri Bhagavatji.

When he returned to His camp, the disciples there were laying unconscious due to his long absence. He sprinkled some holy water on them and they all started talking to Him.

27th BAITHAK at BENARAS (KASHI) (SHETH PURSHOTTAMDA'S HOUSE)

Once, when Shri Mahaprabhuji was performing His daily religious rituals (Sandhya vandan) at the bank of Ganga, Sheth Purshottamdas saw His divine form. He became His disciple. He was so rich, the King of Kashi borrowed money from him.

Shri Mahaprabhuji was staying at the house of Sheth Purshottamdas. Lord Krishna's appearance day (Janmashtmi) was celebrated here. During the festivities, Krishna's parents-Nand-Yashoda and friends appeared. Everyone present had divine vision and Shiva joined in the celebration.

In order to silence the Mayavadins, Shri Mahaprabhuji wrote a short work, called Patravalamban and put it up on the wall of the famous Shiva temple- Kashi Vishweswar. Lord Shiva Himself confirmed that,  Shankarachrya appeared to establish the false theory of Mayavad, know What Shri Vallabhacharya Mahaprabhuji says is right.

Shri Mahaprabhuji had received His sacred thread (Yagnopavit) and later was married here, in this holy city.

28th BAITHAK AT BANARAS (KASHI) (HANUMAN GHAT)

Shri Mahaprabhuji stayed at Hanuman Ghat by the Ganga River after he took Sanyas (highest order of renunciation). His name was changed to Purnanand. For one month he did not eat or drink anything and observed silence.

One day on Ratha yatra, he entered into the Ganga river up to his waist and while singing the glories of Lord, ascended to the divine abode, in the stream of Light       (a fire ball had appeared from the sky). This event was witnessed by his sons Shri Gopinathaji and Shri Vitthalnathaji (Gosainji) along with thousands of people. They all saw this divine departure and realized his divinity.

At this place, at the time of his final departure, he wrote 3½ Shokas about the duty of persons, which is known as ShikshaPatri. Shri Nathaji Himse added 1 ½ Shokas to this advice. He also wrote a work about true renunciation.

He lived for 52 years on Earth and departed to Golokdham, which is known as, Asur vya moh lila'. Deeply grieved many Vaishnavs left their bodies here.

29th BAITHAK at HARIHAR (HAJIPUR)

Shri Mahaprabhuji's disciple Bhagavandas lived here in Bihar, where two rivers Ganga and Gallika meets.

 After Shri Mahaprabhuji's physical disappearance, all of His followers were deeply grieved. Bhagavandas consoled them, Our divine teacher is still alive. When he opened the doors to his temple, all the Vaishnavas present had the sight of Shri Mahaprabhuji sitting there reading the Shrimad Bhagavat.

Previous to this incident, when Vallabhdas took initiations, he felt intense pains of separation from his blessed guru and fell unconscious. He joined with Shri Mahaprabhuji in his pilgrimage. At Jagannathpuri, he was told to return home. A pair of His wooden sandals was given to him. Whenever Bhagavandas had a yearning for Shri Mahaprabhuji, He appeared before him from these sandals.

30th BAITHAK at JANAKPUR

The Baithakji here is located near Hajipur in the village of Janakpur near Patana.

Lord Ram and Sita were married here and had bathed together in the nearby pond of Manek (Mansi). Shri Mahaprabhuji had stayed in nearby garden of Bhagavandas.

Shri Mahaprabhuji initiated Kevalram of Vishnuswami Sampradaya with his 500 hermits here.

Day after Lord Ram's appearance day (RamNavami) Kevalram requested a feast for all the hermits. Only a small portion of milk sweets was left from the celebration. It was impossible to serve 500 people from this. But Shri Mahaprabhuji told Yadavendradas to serve everybody. By His grace the quantity of sweets did not diminish, even after serving all 500. This greatly astonished Yadvendradas.

Such was the power of Shri Valalbhacharya Mahaprabhuji!
